Monthly Highlights - March 2020

  • Developed follow-on position for a National Quantum Computing Center in the DMV

  • Signed a collaboration agreement with TripleBlind, a data privacy, encryption, and digital rights innovator

  • Agreed with BOT to fully separate Connected DMV into an independent organization. The Connected DMV team created the frameworks, projects, models, governance, and other relevant content. An independent model, as originally envisioned, is expected to be most appropriate given Connected DMV's approach of working through the regional organizations.

  • Made a full pivot with the team to exclusively work on COVID-19 initiatives for the DMV

  • Began weekly meetings with the Founding Members given the urgency of COVID-19

  • Developed a COVID-19 initiative to convene a task force of regional leaders focused on recovery and economic renewal in Greater Washington
