USPS CIO Pritha Mehra to Keynote QWC2025

Connected DMV, operator of Quantum World Congress, today announced that Pritha Mehra, Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of the United States Postal Service (USPS), will join the main stage at Quantum World Congress 2025. The event will be held Tuesday, September 16 through Thursday, September 18 at Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia.

As CIO, Mehra oversees one of the world’s largest and most complex technology infrastructures, spanning more than 32,000 network locations, 20,000 servers, and 930 applications across 180,000 devices. Under her leadership, the Postal Service processes more than 110 petabytes of data annually in support of 650,000 employees and the delivery of 127 billion mail pieces each year.

Since being appointed CIO in 2020, she has driven USPS’s digital transformation—modernizing ecosystems and platforms to compete in a rapidly evolving market, strengthening security, and introducing new capabilities that support the Postal Service’s mission to be the nation’s preferred delivery service. Prior to her current role, she led innovations in business mail entry and payment technology, capturing billions in revenue and savings for USPS and its customers.

Her leadership has earned recognition across the federal technology landscape, including multiple Top Boss in IT honors from FedScoop. Mehra holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Georgetown University.

“From securing critical infrastructure to powering the systems that keep our country connected, Pritha Mehra is leading transformation at an institution that touches the daily lives of millions,” said George Thomas, President & CEO of Connected DMV. “We’re honored to welcome her to Quantum World Congress to share her perspective on how emerging technologies like quantum will shape the future of logistics and national competitiveness.”
