WHAT

Connected DMV is convening a comprehensive, regional COVID-19 Strategic Renewal Task Force facilitated by the Greater Washington Board of Trade

WHY

Now is the time to look ahead to how our region will recover, emerge, and thrive after the most acute conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic have subsided

OBJECTIVE

To create a shared regional vision for accelerating economic recovery and shaping a stronger future
for the Greater Washington
metropolitan area

SCOPE

To develop a renewal strategy and set of recommendations that define a transformed future for the DMV with greater economic diversity, growth, inclusivity, resilience, and well-being for all. We will consider the following domains:

  • Regional Collaboration

  • Shared Funding Models

  • Policy & Regulatory Needs

  • Workforce & Innovation

  • Health & Safety

  • Public-Private Integration

  • Resilience

  • Regional Shared Services

A report for our public and private leaders specifying detailed recommendations
for regional resilience,
economic growth, and well-being

PARTICIPATION & STAFFING

The Task Force comprises approximately 45 regional leaders representing the public sector, private sector, academia, federal government, and community. The Task Force is supported by Connected DMV personnel along with additional staff provided by Task Force Members and sponsors.
